The Viva Italia Cup is sponsored by John Gianotti each year at the Heavenly Valley SL weekend.
The coveted Viva Italia Cup is awarded to the
top man and women racer in the overall standings of the first race,
using an age handicapping formula which knocks off a percentage of the racer's
time as their age class increases. Racers of all ages have won under this formula over the years
and the special trophy and a great post-race party make this event a highlight of the race season.
The 2016 Vivia Italia winners are Deb Lewis (W08) and Pierre Jeangirard (M08).

The Bernard Cup is sponsored by Bob Bernard each year at the Squaw Valley race weekend.
Bob played a key role in growth of masters ski racing in the 1980's and 1990's and created the
"Bernard Cup" age handicapping system to provide a way to recognize outstanding skiing
across the entire wide spectrum of masters age classes.
The Bernard Cup, awarded to the
top man and women racer in the overall standings of the race weekend,
is one of the most challenging races on our Far West calendar and has been won by outstanding racers of all ages.
The 2016 Bernard Cup winners are Carol Levine (W09) and Blair Wallace (M09).

The McKinney Cup is sponsored by Tamara McKinney in memory of members of her family,
Steve, McLane, and Frances McKinney. The McKinney family started out skiing in Far West
at Mt. Rose and became one of the most memorable ski racing families ever,
higlighted by the success of Tamara and her World Cup accomplishments.
The McKinney Cup is a perpetual trophy on display over the mantle of the fireplace in the
Mt. Rose lodge.
As with the traditional Mt. Rose Silver Dollar Derby which it succeeds,
the McKinney Cup is awarded to the
man and woman racer with the fastest total time
for the entire weekend.
