More Racing Opportunities: Club Races in North Tahoe

Looking to add more race days to your calendar? Open League, a member of the Bay Area Snow Sports Council and Far West Skiing Association, offers recreational races for adult skiers in the North Lake Tahoe area throughout the season.

Several Open League races fall on weekends with no FWM events, giving you additional opportunities to stay sharp and have fun on the course:

  • Sunday, Feb 8 – Slalom at Sugar Bowl (for those not traveling to Beaver Creek)

  • Saturday, Feb 21 – Morning GS at Alpine Meadows

  • Saturday, Feb 21 – Afternoon GS at Alpine Meadows

  • Sunday, Feb 22 – Slalom at Alpine Meadows

  • Friday, Mar 13 – Event TBD at Sugar Bowl

Open League courses accommodate all ability levels, from beginning racers to former college competitors. You can join for the season or attend as a drop-in guest—day fees apply toward your season registration if you decide to join later.
